IEC Submission Guidelines

For over ten years, the Society of Gastrointestinal Radiologists has sponsored a collaborative educational program with colleagues from Central and South America; and for the first time in 2012, the Society of Abdominal Radiology* will participate in this educational program. This program, the International Educational Conference, sponsors the expenses of a SAR faculty team as they attend and participate in a national or regional radiological conference.

Over the years, the SGR faculty teams have traveled to Guatemala, Peru, Chile, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Uruguay, Mexico, Brazil and Argentina. Over 50 different SGR members have participated as faculty members in this program. They have returned from their SGR-sponsored international educational travel energized and inspired by the intellectual and cultural exchange, and it is my hope that the SAR faculty has the same experience, as this program is implemented into the our new Society.

Upcoming IEC Program
